THE DRAMA BEHIND THE SCENE .....
All of us, at some point in our lives, have or will come across an individual who will become someone we will look back upon as being an inspiration in our lives.
'TOKYO JOE' was one such individual for me. An avid fan of drama and theatre, my friend got nicknamed 'TOKYO JOE' after a famous broadway show.
Throughout our years of working together in the "Village" district of Manhattan, New York , perfecting the art of Japanese Cuisine, Tokyo Joe never failed to humor me with stories of rigid sushi chefs, and stern, steak- knife flailing Hibachi chefs, putting on humorous little acts now and again, with all the flair and drama of the broadway star that he so wanted to be.
It was through his crazy antics and invaluable information, that I started to look upon Japanese Cuisine in a whole new light, and dished up the perfect receipe......
After all, delicious, authentic Japanese food, priced right and served up with a smile, would only help enhance the flavor now, wouldn't it ?
So then, those of you out there, whom of which are craving some healthful Japanese food that is reasonably priced,and for those of you out there for whom 'SERVICE WITH A SMILE" , would mean so much more than any rigid decor.........
